Hi, I'm River! I love my family, many friends, treats and toys. I know I am loved and adored.

Soon after I was born, I, along with my siblings, was taken to the Union County Humane Society (https://uchspets.org/) where they took great care of me until my real family came to get me.

It all started when my mom wanted a puppy for her birthday. Her friend, Marlene, went straight to work- sending her pictures and tagging in her in Humane Society posts with puppies. When she saw the post of my litter, I was obviously the One! Her and dad came to meet me. Mom noticed how smart I was. She liked that. She was a bit hesitant, but I sealed the deal with my signature stare.

As soon as I got home, I started work on Dad. He needed me. I had him wrapped around my tiny paw in no time. Mom said he changed, he was less grumpy after I bonded with him. A good dog will change your life. Well, he eventually created this alternate reality that I'm really his dog. I know Mom got me for her birthday, but let's not remind Dad; he might get grumpy again. I even chose Dad's name for my contact info.
